Tiffany works at the Michigan Humane Society in the United States. She was ready to answer a call when she noticed a cat curled up in the cold in the middle of the roadway. As she approached, she noticed a kitty curled up on top of an orange trash bag in the snow and mud through her window.
Tiffany was able to pick up the shivering cat, and it cuddled close to her for warmth. The kitten had somehow survived the weather and the asphalt and appeared to be in fine health.
Michigan Humane’s media manager, Anna Chrisman, told The Dodo:
“Aside from being extremely cold, he was in fantastic form! And he was overjoyed to be in a warm location with lots of cuddling. He began purring soon after I rescued him and hasn’t stopped since!”

Back at the Detroit shelter, the beautiful 4-month-old kitten named ‘Lodge’ displayed his loving attitude and penchant for cuddles, quickly winning over everyone in the shelter.
The lovely Lodge can’t seem to get enough cuddles and pampering; since his rescue, he has constantly sought people’s attention.
Anna explains:
“Lodge is a nice, gentle cat with a sassy side. He enjoys being held and playing!”

For the time being, the shelter is looking for the appropriate home for this sweet rescue feline. They are accepting adoption applications and will soon locate the ideal home for Lodge, and because of the feline’s enthusiasm, they propose that he go to a family with no very small children.

What is certain is that Lodge will be adored and lavished with embraces in the family where he comes; the feisty kitten deserves it.
