Herman, a 5-year-old boy from Buenos Aires, Argentina, has Down syndrome and has always avoided physical contact with others. Even other children ignore him. But luckily this adorable boy found a much better dog, Himalaya. She is a sweet labrador retriever. The two have formed an incredible bond.
In an emotional and very intense footage the dog approaches the boy carefully. Himalaya acts as she knows the little one has particular needs and requires special attention. Even a person who’s so shy when comes to physical interaction couldn’t resist a dog’s tenderness and unconditional love. So when the pup approaches Hernan, the boy responded in the most adorable way. Thankfully, his mom caught the moving scene on camera.
“Hernan is a bit withdrawn and flees from physical contact,” the boy’s mom, Ana described the video. “He does not like be touched, but Himalaya [the dog] insisted so patiently, and she was so soft that’s why it is so moving, she is left to do anything.” It’s incredible how the simplest gesture can have such a huge impact. The man’s best friend teach us what loyalty, friendship and love really means!
