Pennsylvania Train, With Hundreds On Board, Bursts Into Flames

A Pennsylvania train caught fire, frightening hundreds of passengers. The fire started in the first car of a SEPTA train at Crum Lynne Station on Thursday evening.

There were six cars on the train, carrying 350 passengers heading to Wilmington. Thankfully, conductors quickly evacuated everyone, and no injuries were reported.

Passengers noticed a strange smell before smoke began to fill the train. They were evacuated in about 15 minutes, and the fire engulfed the first car shortly after.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, but the swift actions of the crew helped avoid serious harm.
